Prof. Sean Swei is currently a Professor of Practice in the Department of Aerospace Engineering and the Director of KU Space Technology & Innovation Lab (KUSTIL). Prior to joining KU, Dr. Swei worked as a Senior Research Scientist/Principal Investigator at NASA Ames Research Center, where he conducted advanced aeronautics and spaceflight research. Currently, he is leading a team of researchers in conducting innovative research in the areas of Lunar/Mars mobility vehicles, SpaceRobotics, CubeSat constellation, micro propulsion systems, SpaceMaterials, and programmable space structures.
