Several UAE industrial and governmental sectors started employing AM due to UAE 3D printing strategy in making UAE the world’s 3D printing hub by 2030. \nIn this talk\, Dr. Rashid Abu Al-Rub\, Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Advanced Digital & Additive Manufacturing (ADAM) center\, will present the recent advances in AM in terms of 3D printers\, materials for 3D printing\, digital design\, and novel applications of AM will be covered. Several application case studies showing the potential of AM will be presented. The capabilities and current research activities within the recently established Khalifa University ADAM Center will also be emphasized. \n URL:/event/recent-advances-in-3d-printing-and-additive-manufacturing LOCATION:Virtual END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
