Mr. Jalal El Jazzar is a seasoned finance and investment executive with more than 28 years of experience, including over 21 years in senior executive roles across investment companies, private equity and sovereign wealth fund environments.
Throughout his career, Mr. El Jazzar has held leadership and executive positions with several blue-chip organizations, including Ernst & Young, Dolphin Energy, Emaar Industries and Investments, and Tawazun Economic Council. His experience spans strategic investment management, financial oversight, governance, and value creation across diverse sectors.
Mr. El Jazzar holds a degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Balamand, Lebanon. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), and Certified Private Equity Specialist (CPES), all obtained from the United States. He is also a graduate of the INSEAD International Directors Program (IDP).
In addition to his formal education and certifications, Mr. El Jazzar has completed several executive education programs at leading global institutions, including Harvard University, Stanford University, INSEAD, IMD, and other internationally recognized universities.
Over the course of his career, Mr. El Jazzar has served as a shareholder representative, chairman, board member, and member of executive, audit, and remuneration committees for more than 40 companies.
